Why Choose ACA?
At Adventist Christian Academy, we nurture the whole child—academically, spiritually, and social-emotionally—through Christ-centered learning and a supportive community. Since 1968, we've partnered with families to inspire faith, service, and excellence.
Spiritual Foundation
At ACA, we offer a Christ-centered education that nurtures the spiritual growth of every student. Guided by biblical principles, we integrate faith, compassion, and service into all aspects of learning. This creates an environment where students develop a strong relationship with God and a heart for serving others.
Emotional Intelligence
Social-Emotional Intelligence (SEI) is a key part of our curriculum, helping students develop self-awareness, empathy, and emotional regulation. SEI fosters healthy relationships and emotional resilience, essential for academic and personal growth.
Committed Educators
Our certified teachers are dedicated to the academic, social-emotional, and spiritual development of each student. With low teacher-to-student ratios, educators can provide individualized attention, fostering deeper learning and growth. They engage in continued professional development, ensuring they remain current with the latest pedagogical methods. Their passion and ongoing learning empower students with a high-quality, well-rounded education.
Excellence in Education
ACA Community
Our community is built on collaboration, compassion, and shared values, with parents as key partners in the educational process. We prioritize open communication and active involvement to support students’ holistic growth on all levels. Our strong commitment to family engagement makes parents an integral part of their child’s education, fostering an environment where every student can flourish.
Innovation
Through our partnership with the FLCOE Institute for Innovation, ACA provides students with access to cutting-edge resources and hands-on learning opportunities. Facilitated by Robert Henley, Director of Innovation, this collaboration enables students to explore the latest technology and creative solutions through the Design Thinking process. Our innovative approach prepares students for future challenges while fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.

Message from the Principal

Tobi Pawson
At Adventist Christian Academy, we prioritize the holistic wellness and growth of each student. While we strive for academic excellence, we understand that a student can only truly learn if they are in an environment where they feel regulated and supported. For this reason, we place a strong emphasis on building a spiritual and social-emotional foundation, fostering self-awareness, self-regulation, motivation, empathy, and social skills—through a biblical lens. These components are woven into our educational approach, providing students with the tools they need to thrive academically by allowing them to focus and engage fully. Mission is a central element of our academy, as we give students opportunities to be a part of positive change—whether within the walls of our school or in our community, students have the chance to make an impact. We are dedicated to helping our students grow in their relationship with God and understand that their education is not only preparing them for success in this life but also for their eternal journey. We are also grateful for our team of teachers and supportive staff, who are constantly learning and growing through ongoing professional development, ensuring they are equipped to meet the evolving needs of our students. It is my desire to ensure that every student is given the opportunity to receive an education that inspires them to reach their full potential.
